Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of maintenance and repair services to keep your pool in pristine condition.

Pool Maintenance

Our most popular service. Each week, Roger visits your pool to skim debris, brush the walls and tile line, vacuum the floor (as needed), empty baskets, and test and balance all chemical levels. Consistent weekly care is the best way to protect your investment, extend equipment life, and keep your water safe and inviting all season long.

Arizona dust storms and monsoons can leave a pool looking like a disaster in a matter of hours. Our one-time cleaning service gets your pool back to sparkling condition after a storm — or any time you need a fresh start. No contract required. Just give us a call and we'll get it taken care of.

The sand in your filter is your pool's first line of defense against dirt and debris. Over time — typically every 3 to 5 years — it wears down and loses its filtering effectiveness. Roger will drain the old sand, inspect the laterals inside the filter tank, and repack it with fresh filter sand so your system flows and filters the way it should.

A green pool isn't just an eyesore — it's a health hazard. Whether it's been neglected for weeks or an equipment failure caused the problem, Roger has the tools and know-how to shock, treat, and restore your water to a clear, swimmable state. The process typically involves super-chlorination, algaecide treatment, brushing, and multiple filter cycles until the water is balanced and clean.

Losing more than a quarter inch of water per day? You might have a leak. Undetected leaks waste thousands of gallons of water and can cause serious damage to your pool's structure and surrounding property. Roger uses proven diagnostic methods to pinpoint where the leak is coming from — whether it's the shell, plumbing lines, or equipment — so it can be fixed quickly and correctly.

Cartridge and DE filters should be cleaned regularly to maintain proper water flow and filtration quality. Roger will disassemble your filter, thoroughly clean each element, inspect for cracks or wear, and reassemble it for optimal performance. A clean filter means cleaner water and less strain on your pump.

Over years of use, pool surface can accumulate calcium deposits, algae stains, and mineral discoloration that regular cleaning just won't touch. An acid wash removes a thin layer of plaster to reveal a fresh, bright surface underneath. It's a dramatic transformation — ideal for pools that have been neglected for an extended period or when you're looking to refresh the look of an aging plaster finish.

There are times when a pool needs to be fully drained — whether for an acid wash, a surface repair, tile work, or simply because the water has accumulated too much dissolved solids to be effectively balanced anymore. Roger handles full pool draining safely and efficiently, with attention to the details that matter: proper discharge routing to avoid property damage or HOA violations, monitoring the process to prevent shell damage from hydrostatic pressure, and leaving the pool ready for whatever comes next. If you're not sure whether your pool needs to be drained, Roger can assess the water chemistry and condition and give you a straight answer.

Equipment Repair

In-floor cleaning systems and automatic pool cleaners are incredibly convenient — until they stop working. Roger diagnoses and repairs all types of automatic cleaning systems, from pop-up in-floor heads to pressure-side and suction-side cleaners. Getting your cleaning system back online means less manual labor and a consistently cleaner pool.

Your pump is the heart of your pool — without it, nothing works. Whether your motor is making grinding noises, losing prime, or has stopped running entirely, Roger can assess the problem and get it running again. He handles both motor replacements and full pump assembly repairs, and can advise on energy-efficient variable-speed upgrades that save money over time.

Automatic water levelers keep your pool at the right water level without any effort on your part — but when the float valve or fill mechanism fails, you can end up with overflow or a low-water situation that damages your pump. Roger repairs and replaces water leveler valves and components to keep your water level exactly where it needs to be.

Suction-side pool vacuums are workhorses that take a beating over time. When yours stops moving, loses suction, or is leaving dirt behind, Roger can diagnose the issue — whether it's a clogged line, worn parts, or a connection problem — and get it back to doing its job.

Pool lights add beauty and safety to your backyard, but water and electricity require professional handling. Roger repairs and replaces underwater pool light fixtures, including LED upgrades that use a fraction of the energy of older incandescent fixtures. All light work is done with safety and code compliance in mind.

Salt chlorine generators are a popular and lower-maintenance alternative to traditional chlorine, but when the cell gets scaled up or the control board throws an error, your water chemistry can go sideways fast. Roger services and repairs salt systems — including cell cleaning, cell replacement, and control board diagnostics — to keep your saltwater pool running clean.

Pool plumbing problems — cracked pipes, leaking fittings, failing valves — can waste enormous amounts of water and lead to equipment damage if left unaddressed. Roger handles PVC plumbing repairs above ground, including valve replacements, union repairs, and re-plumbing sections of your return and suction lines as needed.

From sand filters to cartridge and DE systems, Roger repairs and replaces filter tanks, multiport valves, laterals, grids, and cartridges. If your filter is leaking, bypassing water, or simply not keeping up, a repair or replacement can make a significant difference in water clarity and overall system performance.
